Why human expertise matters in AI-driven brand design
AI can produce a logo, a palette, and a year of content in an afternoon. What it can’t do is decide what your brand should stand for, and stand behind that decision. That’s my job: strategy, creative direction, and systems that keep your brand recognizable as more people and more tools use it.
What I bring
Brand strategy. Finding the difference that matters. I uncover what makes your business different for the people who choose it, and turn it into positioning and messages your team can actually use.
Creative direction. Turning strategy into something people recognize. I set the direction, challenge the brief when it asks the wrong question, and make the calls that give a brand its character.
Identity systems. Built to hold up everywhere. I design principles, not just assets: each rule explains its intent, so the brand adapts to new formats without losing itself.
Brand oversight. Keeping the brand on course after launch. Looking at what is actually produced, spotting drift early, and deciding when to apply a rule, challenge it, or evolve it. Available as ongoing creative direction.
I direct. AI executes.
I use AI where it makes the work better. The decisions that shape your brand stay human, and I’m accountable for them.

Why it matters now
Brands rarely lose their character in one bad decision. They drift, one small compromise at a time. Drift existed long before AI. What has changed is volume and speed: when a team can produce in a day what used to take a month, unreviewed decisions add up faster than anyone can catch them. Consistency is necessary, but it isn’t the same as being recognizable.
